The Smile behind Sasha Smiles:

Hi! My name is Sasha, and ever since middle school I have been extremely interested in going into the dental field, either becoming a pediatric dentist or an orthodontist. I have shadowed dentists and orthodontists and my desire to go into this career path has only become stronger. Becoming a dentist seems like an extremely fulfilling expereince. When I was younger, some could say my teeth were a "picket fence", however, after orthodontic treatment, I have caught myself smiling more and having become more confident than ever. Through this site, I hope to make education about keeping our smiles healthy more accessible.

Outside of exploring my interest in dentistry, I enjoy participating in Model UN, tutoring math online, figure skating, and learning Spanish! I am hoping to work to set up fundraisers to increase dental treatment for people who would otherwise be unable to afford it as well as interview dentists to learn more about their perspective on oral health and on the field in general!
